Meet Our Founder

Athletes With Degrees is a non-profit organization founded in 2015 by former collegiate athlete and Jackson State University student, Kenny O'Banner.

His goal is to celebrate and support student athletes who excel both in their chosen sports and in their academic pursuits.

What We Do

Spotlight Success: 

We feature current and former athletes who competed at the highest levels and pursued an education.

Provide Resources:

We will offer scholarships, mentoring programs, and resources to support student-athletes in their academic journeys.

Community Outreach:

We organize events and community programs to encourage youth participation in sports and academics.

We envision a world where every student athlete has the opportunity to succeed both on the court and in the classroom, regardless of their background or circumstances.

We believe that by highlighting success stories and providing the right tools, we can inspire the next generation of student athletes to achieve excellence in all areas of their lives.
